I had purchased Mahesani buffalo in year 2008-09 with help of Subsidy (GOG) and Loan (GTDC) under the "Vanbandhu Kalyan Yojna". I had also received utensil set, hand chaff cutter, health kit, cattle feed, de-worming dan and insurance coverage for 3 years.

I had sold 1346 liters of milk in our "milk co-operative society" and earned Rs. 35,135.00 during that lactation period. I had paid full amount (with interest) of loan to the GTDC and surplus amount spent for agriculture & construction of cattle shed for my buffalo & it's calf. My buffalo is again delivered a female calf and giving me average 4.5 liters milk per day which generates the daily income of Rs. 105.00. On basis of my interest for dairy farming and repayment of the loan, I got second asset recently. At present I am getting more than 250 rupees per day from two buffalo and now me & my family has need not to go for the scattered labor.

Because of IDDP (GOG) & GTDC (NSTDFC), our social status, livelihood, economical condition and family health has been improved. We are thankful to the Government Schemes.
